Hello! I have been away on a holiday in London and what a happy holiday that was!
I was intrigued by the history of the country (mind you, SG only has a history of like 46 yrs!) and of course, delighted with shopping!
Here are the stuff that made me giddy with happiness:
Of course, animals!

Beautiful architecture of the buildings, cottages and city homes

Gargoyle and the church

Of course the Royal Wedding!

The many free museums...

Visiting tourist attractions

Having coffee and cakes on a weekend at Covent Garden...

And how can I forget...SHOPPING!!!!
I went ga-ga at the drugstores!!! Here are 2 which I spend most of my time at:
And here're where I spent most of my money at:

And lastly, being able to wear leggings under a dress and boots, something extremely impractical in uber-hot SG!

I spend most weekends watching National Geographic and whenever a trailer or documentary about penguins come on, I just burst out laughing. I laugh because of their cute bellies, their funny walk and the way they skid across the ice on their bellies.
Penguins are cute and silly looking, but most of all, they always look happy! I mean, have you ever seen an unhappy penguin???
The bf got me my own penguin last weekend and now I can have a penguin by my desk, making me smile whenever I look at it.

Tra-la-la..!!! ~~ May you have a happy week ahead! ~~~

Hello! I went for my usual pedicure today and the manicurist asked if I'd like to try a peel-off mask for my feet. She promised fairer, hydrated feet so I thought I'd give it a short.
After scrubbing, she applied a nice, thick layer of the Nail Tek Advanced Hydrating Creme and massaged my feet.
She then applied the Nail Tek Absorption Enhancing Masque. Apparently when it is applied over the Advanced Hydrating Creme, it helps enhance absorption and moisture retention in the deep dermal layers of the skin.

Here's the mask on my feet. She applied only up to my ankle level.

She went on and applied my polish and when the mask dried, she peeled it off. It is suppose to exfoliate the feel during the peel-off process.
There! Voila! Fair, fair feet!!!

I think this mask is fantastic! Only thing is, I wished the manicurist applied it up to my knees instead of my ankles. I had to walk around looking as if I went out under the sun in ankle length socks and ended up with an ankle tan line as a result!
That aside, I think the result is obvious and my feet still look nice and fair even at the end of the day. I would have bought the moisturizer and mask but it cost approximately SGD$110 and I am not too sure how diligent I will be in applying it. At least I now know there's hope for my tan legs!
By the way, the nail colour I chose today is Orly's Lollipop.
Happy fair feet!
Hello! I have always wanted to 'dress up' my passport but most of the passport covers I have came across are cutesy Hello Kitty or Sesame Street ones that I don't quite love... I ever considered making my own but somehow never got down to it.
I came across some lovely ones on Etsy and they are so reasonably priced. I bought 2 from Kotibeth and had to stop myself from purchasing more, I mean, what's a girl got to do with so many passport covers right?? Now that I have received them, I am thinking of buying more! I dunno, I could give it as gifts to my bffs or to my mum or whomever, but they are simply so lovely! Kotibeth also produces die cuts personalized recipe boxes, cheque book covers (hmmm, I am considering this!) and coasters (and this too!)
Here're the ones I bought:

Now I am in a dilemma which one to use first!
I went on a little shopping spree on Charlotte Russe a couple of weeks ago and the items finally arrived!

Hello! I went for a long overdued pedicure a couple of days ago and picked this OPI shade.
However, the nail salon has a funny system of covering the name of the shade with a round sticker where they labelled it in numerical code instead, so I could not peek at what shade is on my toes. Anyone have any idea what this shade is?
On my fingernails is Mia by Zoya. I'm loving my nails! :)

My folks are out of town and thus I have sole access to my dad's car for the week.
The convenience of having a car to zoom around made me start thinking about getting a car, but it is waaaay too expensive to own a car in tiny Singapore, so, I shall just dedicate this post to some cars I have been eyeing. Seems like I have a penchant for hatchbacks!
Suzuki SX4

Mazda 2

Volkswagen Golf GTI

Peugeot 308

So, perhaps a fairy godmother may grant me a wish and let me win a car or something soon! Haha!
Do you drive? Do let me know what car you are driving. :)
I love accessories! Personally, I feel they are essential items which help complete outfits. I reckon they are like full-stops and commas and without these punctuation marks, the sentence just doesn't feel quite right.
I don't particularly spend too much money on accessories because I love to own a variety of them. I do realize, however, that there are a few pieces which I wear more often because they go with alot of my outfits. I thought I should keep a mental note of them so that if I ever am tempted to spend a bomb on accessories, I should be purchasing something similar to these well-worn and loved ones.
These necklaces were all bought during sale. If I am not wrong, there are from Diva and Helen.

My staples...

Lesson:
Do take note of the accessories which you wear often because they help complete most of your outfits. Then make sure you purchase a similar piece as a 'backup', just so that you not be stuck in an "incomplete style rut" when you well-worn and loved accessories spoil.
Have fun with your accessories!
Happiness is... having mints out of a pretty tin! Introducing... Liberty by Tic Tac (from my favourite confectionary company, Ferrero!)
I was doing my usual chocolate shopping at Cocoa Tree and this pretty tin caught my eye.
...

I just thought it looks sleek but when I opened it... what a pretty surprise! Such a pretty picture on the inside of the cover...

~Pretty mints from a pretty tin!~
There's something about seeing babies together with their pet dogs that warms my heart.
I was at a friend's place and she managed to snap a picture of her girl sitting with her pet pooch. The rest are just some sweet pictures I found online that brought a smile to my face this morning. :)
Hope it makes your Monday a sweeter day too!

Awwwww... so sweet!!!

And this one is hilarious!

~ Have a good Monday! ~
